Lanterns and Site Specific Installation
As part of my work I create lanterns and props site specific installation and celebrations, moving into directing these type of events and collaborating with film and sound practitioners for festivals, nightclubs and themed events of all kinds.

For @kjohn1215 at The St Albans Festival we created a live Twitter feed projection onto a historic building in St Albans as part of a number of interactive sound and light clues to send the public to the finale. I have also worked with award winning theatre company SPID on Echo in Meanwhile gardens London.

  • 'The Body' lantern figure clue for ECHO at Meanwhile Gardens, London W10 for award winning site specific theatre Company SPID. Voices came from out from within the empty shell of Echo when participants sit next to her.
  • @KJOHN1215 was an interactive light and sound installation for St Albans Festival, touching on the themes of the Magna Carta and the rule of King John.  We used community voices on the spoken word triggers, created lantern and interactive film that lead the public around via clues they found along the way. The finale was a freedom garden of lanterns and live music in the grounds of the cathedral. Sound by Pete Bilk and film by Dom Martin...Here is a short and rough video diary of the evening.
